exo (2012-now)
Under SM Entertainment, Park Chanyeol (박찬열), was announced as the last member that would form the idol group EXO (엑소), divided in EXO-K and EXO-M, on February 22nd of 2012. Chanyeol debuted later on April 8th along with the rest of the group, with their debut mini album MAMA.Chanyeol is in charge of the rap when he works under EXO. He plays the guitar, bass, drums, piano, and has knowledge about DJing.He participates in the writing, composition and production of EXO's songs, his work in the studio gaining importance with each EXO album.Since 2012, Chanyeol has actively participated in the group activities and continues to do so.From March 29th 2021 until September 28th 2022, Chanyeol fulfilled his military service.
exo-sc (2019-now)
On September 14th of 2018, the EXO members Oh Sehun and Park Chanyeol, released a song together under the project serie SM STATION, ''We Young''.Due to the good response and the desire of both artists to work together, EXO-SC, as the second subunit of EXO was named (first one being EXO-CBX), officially debuted on July 21st 2019 with their first mini album ''What A Life''. It includes 6 songs and a song featuring Gaeko from Dynamic Duo, who also took part on the production and composition of the album, as well as the duo.
Along with the main MV for What A Life, another two MVs were released, one for Just Us 2(ft. Gaeko), and another one Closer To You.On July 13th 2020, EXO-SC made their first comeback with the full album ''1 Billion Views'', with a title track by the same name, featuring MOON. Including 9 tracks and features from Penomeco on Say It, 10cm on Telephone and Gaeko on Fly Away. The album also included two solos, being Nothin' Chanyeol's solo, and On Me Sehun's. This album was self-produced, composed and written by the duo, with the help of Gaeko, who took the role of the producer of the duo, and artists such as studio 519, MQ, Gray, Thama, Sole, etc. MVs for the songs Telephone, Nothin' and On Me were also released.

SOLOS
Although being one of the most influential artists in South Korea, Chanyeol's solo path is still short, or at least the part that corresponds to SM Entertainment.The song Delight can be considered his first solo act, included in the album Exology Chapter 1: The Lost Planet (2014), it being the live album of the first EXO tour.
A year after (2015) he would compose and sing YoungStreet, as the logo song, for Lee Gook Joo's, Young Street program.
During Elyxion (EXO's 4th tour, 2017-2018) he performed a solo stage, Hand, a song dedicated to his members, whose lyrics were written by him.Fans had to wait until April 25th 2019, for Chanyeol to release his first solo song SSFW or also called Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, under SM project SMSTATION, as he had previously done with Sehun on 2018.His second solo song would arrive on 1 Billion Views album, Nothin', in which Chanyeol wrote the lyrics, participated in the production and composing, as well as played the guitar chords of it.His first solo OST would arrive on November 1st 2020, for the webtoon She's My Type with the song Minimal Warm, a sweet melody with romantic lyrics of admitting a love when maybe it was too late.His third solo song was a completely surprise. Some days after entering the military service, on April 6th Tomorrow, a SMTATION, was announced. The songs talks about the fears and uncertainty of the upcoming future, and about the shaky past, wondering if after the early morning, the other person will be there. Chanyeol delivers his answer in the song, saying he will wait. A simple, touching mv was presented with the song too.His official solo debut is awaited by fans all around the world, and it is expected to happen soon, although no SM statement has been released to confirm it. Chanyeol has repeatedly mentioned his desire of debuting solo and he is constantly working on creating songs.

Development, articles and notices
With the first news about this project on July 2020, the expectation for the movie grew and grew, finally blooming with the release of the first short video on March 1st 2021, a 30 seconds piece where Chanyeol, along with musicians, performs Bad Guy by Billie Eilish. The short video made it everywhere globally, being the main attraction of Billboard articles during the following days.

Introduction
The Box (2021) is a busking road trip movie, where Chanyeol plays the role of JiHoon, an aspiring and promising musician who has stage fear and can only perform inside a box. Jo Dal Hwan, as the producer Minsoo, will help JiHoon accept the fear and eventually, learn to manage it, so he can enjoy the stage. A trip allover Korea, showing the beautiful sceneries of the country, plus amazing songs and performances, create an amazing production that can be as the same level as music films like Begin Again.After the good reception of the launching clip, the first long teaser of the movie was published on March 4th 2021, also announcing the release date, March 24th 2021.
The teaser shows an emotional, powerful and dynamic film, increasing even more the expectation existent.
Its premiere had place on March 18th 2021 that Chanyeol attended. Said event was held at COEX Megabox in Samseong-dong. He received the support of his family and NNG Staff, as well as Kyungsoo, Sehun and Minseok.

Music and future
Chanyeol has been the one arranging the songs for the movie, as well as participating on the composition, production and writing of the film OST. In fact, the main song of the film, Break Your Box, has been composed, singed, played and arranged by the artist. A snippet of it was released along with the movie promo clip.Because of the good reception the film has had in the premiere, it will be showed in cinemas of 11 countries outside Korea including Japan and USA, and probably more if it continues like this. The reviews, critics and people's impressions are elevating even more the expectations for the fans around the world. Is now possible to watch the film on streaming sites like Prime Video by Amazon.
